UNHS is announcing updates to eight courses across four subject areas as of April 15, 2021. Course updates include new course versions with new or updated textbooks. Additionally, there is the introduction of a new course, Medical Terminology, which is only available online. Most course updates also include a change to Teacher Connect activities. These activities will now be graded components that count in a student’s overall course grade.
Below are highlights of individual course updates.
American History 1 and 2. New version of course with new textbook. Teacher Connect activities are now each worth one percent of the student’s overall course grade.
Ocean Biology. New version of course with new textbook edition. Teacher Connect activities are now each worth one percent of the student’s overall course grade.
9th Grade English 1 and 2. New version of course with different required materials. Teacher Connect activities are now each worth one percent of the student’s overall course grade.
American Literature Studies. New version of course with different required readings. Teacher Connect activities are now each worth one percent of the student’s overall course grade.
Astronomy. New version of course introducing a new textbook. Teacher Connect activities are now each worth one percent of the student’s overall course grade.
Medical Terminology. This is a new course joining the collection of Health Careers offerings. This course is only available online; no print materials offered.
