Effective Jan. 28, 2024, through June 30, 2024, UNHS will accept emailed official transcripts for the process of transcript evaluation.

This is a departure from the existing policy that prohibits the use of emailed transcript copies in the evaluation process. This period is to be considered a trial of the process and will be reviewed at the end of the 2023-2024 academic year on June 30, 2024.

This update aims to streamline the transcript evaluation process and provide more flexibility to students while maintaining the integrity of academic records.

Reminders:

An official transcript is a complete representation of a student’s academic record that includes all courses completed at an institution. It may include a summary of transfer credits accepted by the institution. A transcript will be considered official when it has been sent directly from the school or arranged through an accepted third-party processor, such as Parchment, to UNHS. The official transcript must be signed by the school’s registrar/administrator and have the school seal. If accreditation is not already included on the transcript, please provide this information as well.

Students wanting to earn a diploma from UNHS and have existing high school credit must complete a Transcript Evaluation Form and have official transcripts sent from all high schools attended since ninth grade. UNHS academic advisers will provide an accurate evaluation of the student’s transferable credit hours and a list of remaining courses to earn a diploma from UNHS once all transcripts are received.

Students wanting to obtain an official transcript from UNHS must complete a Transcript Request Form or go through Parchment Secure Transcript Services. UNHS will not provide unofficial transcripts.
