UNHS is announcing updates to six courses across three subject areas as of August 2, 2021. Course updates include new course versions and new textbooks along with updated world language courses that will require students to submit audio recordings. All course updates also include a change to Teacher Connects. These activities will now be graded components that count towards a student’s overall course grade.
Below are highlights of individual course updates.
Tenth Grade English 1 and 2. New version of each course with new textbooks from different publishers. Teacher Connects are now each worth 1% of a student’s overall course grade.
First Year French. New version of course. Teacher Connects and projects will now require students to create audio recordings. Teacher Connects are also each worth 1% of a student’s overall course grade.
First Year Spanish. New version of course. Teacher Connects and projects will now require students to create audio recordings. Teacher Connects are also each worth 1% of a student’s overall course grade.
World History 1 and 2. New version of each course with a new textbook from a different publisher. Teacher Connects are now each worth 1% of a student’s overall course grade.
