As of Feb. 1, 2024, UNHS is announcing updates to four courses as well as introducing Introduction to Business, a brand-new course. Materials for this new course are available via digital course pack and print. Additionally, the Writing for Success course will no longer be available in the UNHS Store for enrollments after Jan. 31, 2024.
In Introduction to Business, students learn about different types of economic systems as well as how market economies operate. Topics studied include types of businesses, business ownership, marketing, management, basic accounting, and business technology.
New versions of existing UNHS courses involve updates such as the inclusion of digital course packs, modifications to course material requirements, and Teacher Connect activities now being included in a student’s overall course grade.
Details of the four updated course versions are highlighted below.
Appreciating Art. Physical textbook no longer required. New version of course with course materials now being offered via digital course pack (print format also available).
Health and Wellness. Physical textbook no longer required. New version of course comes with optional printed course content. Course available in print or online.
AP® Environmental Science. New version of course with an updated edition of textbook. Teacher Connects are now also each worth 1% of a student’s overall course grade. Course available in print or online.
Civics. Physical textbook no longer required. New version of course with course materials now being offered via digital course pack (print format also available). Teacher Connects are now also each worth 1% of a student’s overall course grade.
